Over four days we will experience the best outdoor activities Colorado has to offer while enjoying world class lodging and gourmet meals at the historic Three Mile Ranch.

Our expert local guides have planned a long weekend full of adventurous activities for all levels. Offerings are subject to change depending on weather and availability but our goal is to provide action packed days with as many activities as you’d like to participate in with free time to unwind and/or explore the ranch!


OUR VENUE

Nestled in the scenic beauty of Guanella Pass, 3 Mile Creek House offers the ultimate blend of accessibility and adventure. Located just one hour from Denver, the ranch has countless outdoor activities and serene mountain views to elevate your stay.

Discover the timeless elegance of the 3 Mile creek House, an extraordinary showplace steeped in history and charm. Originally built in the late 1920s and early 1930s as a mountain retreat for the daughter of Adolph Coors, this home showcases exquisite craftsmanship, with decorative beams hand-carved by talented artisans from Taos. Its Spanish-Indian decor is both unique and unforgettable, offering guests a one-of-a-kind experience.

Situated four miles off Highway 285 in Grant and six miles from the summit of Guanella Pass, 3 Mile Creek house is perfectly positioned for exploring the best of Colorado.

Hiking Mecca:
Park County is a haven for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Popular trails include:
Mt. Bierstadt, Silver Dollar Lake, and Square Top Mountain, with their stunning views and accessible lakes for a half-day adventure.
Kenosha Pass (15 minutes away): Access to the renowned Colorado Trail, Twin Peaks, and exhilarating mountain biking trails.


ADVENTURES INCLUDE:

  • Full moon stargazing hike

  • Fly fishing clinic in a stocked pond

  • Yoga classes in the meadow

  • Pilates class

  • Bonfire bonding (and smores!)

  • Guided cold water immersion

  • SUP adventure (standup paddleboarding on a high alpine lake)

  • Summit hike: conquer high alpine peak!

While our schedule is full with a variety of options, you can choose which activities to participate in. If something doesn't interest you there is plenty to do around the Ranch including:

  • Private Fishing Pond: Relax by the water or enjoy a peaceful morning of fishing.

  • Hot Tub Cabana: Unwind in a private hot tub with spectacular mountain views after a day of exploring.

  • 18 Acres of Ranch Land: Take in the beauty of nature with Three Mile Creek running through the property. The ranch has a private entrance into the 3 Mile Trail system. Ideal for trail running, and hiking.

  • Unwind with a massage

  • And so much more!


MEALS:

Retreat fees include all meals, we are hiring a professional chef to prepare healthy, hearty and delicious meals for all dietary preferences (continental breakfast and box lunch on Saturday).

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

This retreat is for anyone and everyone. No previous experience necessary for any of the activities, all fitness levels welcome. Our hiking will be designed to accommodate all paces, we will stop frequently for water/snack breaks and to take in the scenery and plenty of pictures of course! (Isn’t that what it’s all about anyways?).

All activities are optional with alternatives available.

  • 3 nights lodging

  • Continental breakfasts and chef prepared lunches and dinners

  • Training plan to prepare for summit hike

  • All lessons + guided activities, rentals and equipment

  • Digital photo album

  • Experiences and friendships to last a lifetime!

Does not include:

  • Airfare

  • Transportation from Denver/airport

  • Snacks

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Tipping your guides

  • Travel/cancellation insurance (we highly recommend getting this and can provide recommendations. It will cover the deposit and any other costs if something arises and you can no longer attend)

  • Anything else not listed under “What’s Included”

Getting here:

Fly into Denver International Airport and rent a car. It is about a 1 hour, 45 minute drive from DIA (without traffic so plan accordingly).
*For those coming from out of state try to schedule a flight that arrives by noon on Friday and leaves no earlier than 4pm on Monday.

$1850- private room

$1550/p- shared room (2 beds)

$1350/p- Triple room (3 beds):

$1050/p- Shared suite (4 bed*s):

*After you pay the deposit we will follow-up with an intake form where you can note your accommodation preferences. Room preference is not guaranteed.

Discounts/payment options:

- L2S members save an additional $50 off total retreat cost.

- $35 credit will be applied on final invoice for those who can bring their own stand up paddleboard
