It can be difficult to find the motivation to get out and exercise when the days are shorter and colder. Let's start off the holiday season the right way with a little fitness challenge!
Do you remember the old 10,000 steps a day campaign? Well, we are bringing it back and challenging you to rack up 10k steps (or about 5 miles), every day in November.
These challenges are FREE and open ONLY to current L2S paid Adventure Members!

Winter is around the corner and as the trail running, biking and hiking season winds down, this is the perfect time to work on your weaknesses, literally!
Strength and conditioning work is just as important as putting in the mileage in a training routine, if not more so.
Let's spend the next 4 months together building a strong foundation so that you can run, ride and hike stronger and injury free in 2024!
Burn off the Turkey Gravel ride!
Let’s burn off all of those Thanksgiving indulgences! Join us for a social gravel ride for all levels. Location TBD based on trail conditions. This event is open to current L2S members only.
Aerial Yoga
Join Life's 2 Short Fitness and PranaTonic for a one hour Aerial yoga class! This special class will give you the foundations of the practice to ease you into and out of the poses with confidence. Enhance your strength, stability and focus connecting movement and breath. Find joy, bringing out your inner child with this playful and supportive practice. The hammock is used as a prop to allow a deeper experience. This one hour class includes a digital photo album.
Western Colorado Trail Running Camp
Join us for a long weekend in the colorful desert landscape of Western Colorado! This year, we have partnered with Gemini Adventures and all runners will have the option to run the Fruita Trail Half as a part of their registration!
L2S is teaming up with Becoming Ultra coaches for this special co-ed trail running camp for all levels!
Kilimanjaro Hiking adventure retreat!
Join the team with Life’s 2 Short Fitness for a bucketlist adventure in Africa!
We are planning a 10 day adventure that includes a walking safari, hot springs, waterfall hike + cultural immersion, mindful meditation sessions and did we mention a summit of Mount Kilimanjaro?!?

Beginner MTB Program (Summer'24)
Check out the L2S women's beginner mountain biking course!
This program will follow the same model as our popular trail running courses: guided and coached rides at beginner friendly trails across the front range paired with clinics featuring expert guest speakers.
L2S Rocks the Frisco Triathalon!
This bucket list event includes stand-up-paddle boarding, mountain biking and trail running. The course is simply stunning with views of the surrounding snow capped peaks and fields of vibrant wildflowers- a 2k paddle across lake Dillon, 12k mountain bike, 5k trail run. The trails are intermediate level with some short, steep but sweet climbs and endless views.
L2S Conquers the Leadville Heavy Half!
L2S is taking on a big one this year, the Leadville Heavy Half!
This stunning and historic race course takes you up old mining roads and trails with a "summit" of Mosquito Pass at 13,185 feet. The rough and rocky terrain will challenge your trail running skills but the views and spirit of the competitors will keep you going strong.
WESTERN SLOPE - Women's Self Defense Seminar
Join us for a free clinic with expert instructors where we will learn techniques to fight back and stay safe when hiking/running/biking on the trails.

This program is for Colorado women looking for support and community to train for their first 5k (race or adventure) ON the trails!
Have you always wanted to run a 5k? Do you love hiking and being in the outdoors?
Trail running is easier on your body: running on dirt trails has less impact on your joints and running up hills and on rocky surfaces increases strength and stability!
Women’s Ride & Flow Summer Series
Join a social MTB ride for all levels followed by a yoga class in the meadow!
Beginner Trail Running Course - Lakewood (Summer ‘24)
New to trail running or just want to hone in your rock hopping skills?
This 6-week course pairs coached runs at different trails across the front range to work on skills and fitness (such as how to conquer technical terrain and steep hills) and clinics with expert guest speakers like park rangers to talk about what to do if you see a rattlesnake or mountain lion (gulp) on the trail. The graduation run culminates with a 5-6 mile run including a little bit of everything with your new trail running friends!
