October Elevation Fitness Challenge (L2S Adventure Members)


Stay active this October with a unique fitness challenge. Run, walk, hike or bike and try to accumulate the most elevation over 31 days.

This is a unique challenge designed to keep you motivated, active and connected through October. Track your elevation gain over the month: walking, running, hiking and biking all count towards your goal!


How does it work?
- Join our private Strava group to stay accountable and motivated. This is where you will track or load in your workouts to see how you stand.
- Join our private Facebook group where you can post screenshots of your workouts and cheer on other challenge goers. This is also where we will share resources and details for mini challenges (see below).
- We will post a weekly hill or stair workout to give you some inspiration plus a few treadmill and stairmaster workouts for days you cannot make it outdoors AND a tool to convert mileage/grade to elevation gain.
Mini challenges!
- Join "Hell week" from October 22nd-28th where we challenge you to run, walk, hike or bike over 1000 feet of elevation each day!
- Finish strong on Hill-o-ween! Wear a costume on the final day, October 31st and share a screenshot. The person with the most creative costume + impressive method of elevation gain that day wins a special prize!
- For Colorado participants join a live event on Oct 28th (either fire road at Green Mountain/North table mnt or stairs/roads at Red Rocks amphitheatre- weather/conditions pending) to see how much elevation we can get in a 2 hour grind for our grande finale!

FREE and open ONLY to current L2S paid Adventure Members!

We are focusing on consistency and building up those climbing muscles, fitness and lungs for our future big mountain adventures, goals and races!
