Join this fun social morning on the water with Life's 2 Short Fitness and SUP Sisters Colorado. This SUP adventure for women only is the perfect way to soak up local fall colors on the water before cooler temperatures settle in and we put away the boards for the season.
This event also takes place during the annular solar eclipse at around 10:40am. What better way to view this spectacular celestial event than on the water?
Standup paddleboarding is quickly becoming one of the most popular sports in Colorado. It is relaxing, perfect for all ages and fitness levels and a fun way to spend time in the great outdoors!
The SUP session will be guided with several L2S & SUP Sisters ambassadors providing assistance, the paddle will take us along the shoreline where we may catch glimpses of native wildlife and take in views of the lush foothills and forest surrounding the park.
Kayakers are also welcome to join. Bring your kids and/or dogs too!
Event fee includes:
- SUP Sisters and L2S stickers
- Digital photo album
- SUP Sisters ambassadors on-site to help out newbies with pumping up boards and answering questions!
- Proceeds will help us to continue hosting social events, zoom presentations, charity events plus invest in safety gear that we loan out for no charge including PDF's, leashes, extra paddles and more. Thank you for supporting the community!
- SUP rentals available for $30
Safety stuff:
REQUIRED: PFD, leash and whistle. State law requires a PDF on the board.
REMEMBER: there are no instructors or lifeguards on duty during these events. You are responsible for your own safety while on the lake. Please dress appropriately, and know your skill level.
Refund and transfers not available 24 hours prior to the event.
Weather policy:
We will let participants know if we need to cancel or delay an event within an hour of the planned meetup start time via email and on the Facebook event page. We know some people travel a bit to get to our location however the forecast in Colorado can change hour by hour and we don't want to make a premature decision. If we need to cancel we will always offer a credit for a future event or a refund. Thank you for understanding!
*Please note that you are responsible for transportation to the event and getting to the event on-time. There is a $10 entry fee or you can use a Colorado state park pass to enter the park. We will send out emails and post on the facebook event page instructions and details for getting to the location.
Refund policy:
- We do not offer refunds within 24 hours before the event
- We will not offer a refund if you are unable to make it to the event or are lost or late on event date.
- Our staff will be unable to take calls or messages 2 hours prior to the event start time.
